Kempenfelt Group installs the first Preproofer, utilizing Epson 9700 printer technology
Barrie, Ontario based Kempenfelt Group has recently expanded their prepress department with the installation of the latest generation Preproofer duplex imposition printer, through Unisource Canada, Inc.

This allows the CTP operator, production team, and customer to visualize the complete printing form - including colour, all marks, traps, overprints and bleeds - prior to making plates or starting production. Preproofer output can then easily be folded, cut, stitched, assembled with other forms, and evaluated as if it were a printed sheet coming from the press. The Preproofer allows printing out of double-sided form proofs that are fully imposed in just one pass. Preproofer simply adapts the fully-imposed bitmap to the resolution of the double-sided inkjet proofing system, thereby guaranteeing full content and layout accuracy to the plates and print job.
